GPD is releasing a new Win 2 mini PC with updated specs

GamePad Digital’s fantastic GPD Win 2 will be receiving an upgraded version soon.

Announced through the official GPD Win subreddit, this new model of the Win 2 will focus on improving every aspect of the original device.

With an upgraded CPU and improved heat dissipation, this new version of the GPD Win 2 should be able to game for longer without hitting a thermal throttle. This should improve some system’s shutting down when overclocked too high.

Other features that are coming to the upgraded model includes faster SD card speeds. 5v charger support and improved sound quality.

GPD’s Win series of devices are incredible designs for their form factor. While many are still waiting for the next-gen GPD Win Max, this updated Win 2 should be a very interesting product for those interested in gaming mini PCs.
